If You've Got It...

I like to consider myself a true addict... And despite my ridiculous collection of denim jeans, I also have a ridiculous collection of denim shorts, denim jackets, I even have a few denim corsets (90's Dior and D & G) and of course the items that come second to my jeans... My denim skirts.
Denim skirts are a must for every wardrobe, like jeans, they are extremely wearable and can be dressed up or down. They can look classic, cool, sexy and daring all at the same time, this not only depends on what brand you pick to wear, this also depends on the length. Yes, length is everything!
As long as you can have a million varieties of skirts, you can also have a million varieties of denim skirts... Who remembers what the boys at DSquared did with the denim skirt last summer? It was long and oh so innocent, yet it was bold, daring and extremely bad. Like most girls, when I choose to wear a denim skirt it tends to be a mini. These are not only the most popular of all denim skirts, they could also be the most versatile.
My picks for this summer, from top to bottom:
The light and summery Deisel Denim skirt. This skirt is perfect for a chic but casual daytime look ( as shown above), or with a sexy party top and heels for a night out.
The classic dark denim Ernest Sewn Skirt. Is an extremely wearable skirt, that can be worn with a plain tee around the house, or with high heels and a sexy halter to hit the bars. This is the classic denim skirt shape, which has been updated to a low waisted and sliming skirt... I LOOVE Ernest Sewn!
The bright yellow Versace Jeans Skirt. This skirt is crazy... But a good crazy! It can be worn wit a plain long white tank, for the cool classic Californian beach girl look, or with a nice black shirt as it gets darker. Though the model wears this skirt with red high heels, I beg of you, please never do anything like that! It is skanky!
When you wear skirts this loud, keep everything else simple, flat flip flops or pumps will work perfectly. The 'less is more' rule definetly applies here.
