Levi's have a new sports apparel division Flu that is producing a range of jeans, t-shirt and jackets. The lightweight stretchy jeans above might look unusual but apparently they are ideal for people with an active lifestyle. As with a lot of Levi's more interesting items these are only available in Japan, where they can be bought from TabDevice. (Source: HypeBeast)

Takumi Men's Jeans

Takumi Jeans is a new American denim label that has taken the smart step of having their jeans handcrafted in Japan and the results are worth the extra effort. These jeans stand up very well against a lot of the more established denim brands out there. The denim is high quality selvedge, the indigo dye is deep, dark and rich and the cuts are classic straight leg. The most surprising denim related news this week is that Pete Wentz, bassist with indie rockers Fall Out Boy is to team up with DKNY Jeans. What next - the drummer of My Chemical Romance joining forces with Louis Vuitton to design a range of luggage?

Your questions will be answered by jeans expert Donna Ida Thornton the founder of the Donna Ida Denim Boutique in London. If you have any questions you would like answered please send them to advice@denimology.com.

Q) I am 5 ft 2 in and of slim build. What jeans should I wear to make me look taller and my legs longer? (Submitted by Yogi Kong)

A) I'm 5 foot - no inches to add. I am wearing 18th Amendment's Colbert jeans (see above) at the moment - they're high waisted and have a fantastic flare that give the impression one is walking on stilts! And if you peek underneath you'll see I'm not far off in this season's huuuuuge platforms. For the first time ever I actually look tall (Answered by Donna Ida Thornton)

Won hundred Jeans

h3.jpg
Won hundred is a Danish ready to wear fashion brand founded in 2004 that has recently started producing jeans. They have a range of dark and skinny jeans that have apparently been designed for "beautiful femmes fatales and virtuous determined gentlemen recklessly roaming the endless streets of the city searching for love and excitement". Not sure exactly what that means but the jeans themselves are not too shabby at all.
