China Blue - Denim Sweatshop Documentary

China Blue is a new documentary shot undercover in a jeans factory in China that shows the harsh conditions teenage workers are forced to endure to produce the jeans that we wear. They work 18 hours a day for less than a dollar and are forced to live in cement fatory dormitories with no running water. China Blue demonstrates how something we all take for granted such as our choice of blue jeans can result in exploitation and negative human consequences.

Victoria Beckham in Tsubi / Ksubi Colored Jeans

If there is a new denim trend around you can bet your bottom dollar that Victoria Beckham is going to be right on top of it. Here are some photos of her shopping in London last Friday in the same pair of super skinny electric blue Tsubi/Ksubi jeans that Ashley Simpson was seen wearing last week. J Brand Baby Jeans

Some people might find the idea of jeans for babies ridiculous but I think these new BABY jeans by J Brand are very cute. I'm not the only one because apparently Katie Holmes has bought a bunch of them for her daughter Suri.

Denim Face Off - Denim Shorts

Summer is on the way and if these photos are anything to go by then it looks like denim shorts are going to be just as popular in 2007 as they were in 2006. Here we have face off between three very famous, young and skinny actresses who were all photographed in denim shorts in the last couple of weeks. When it comes to denim hotpants it is important that they fit well, so Ashley Olsen loses points for wearing a pair that are too big for her. Keira Knightley's shorts don't look to bad it's just the rest of her outfit that makes her look more like a student than a movie star. So by default that leaves Mischa Barton and her denim shorts and boots combo the winner.

Superfine Men's Autumn/Winter 07 Collection

Superfine have named their Autumn/Winter Men's Collection "Paint It Black" and it takes it's inspiration from the darker side of rock n roll. The collection includes the "Duke" in-between jeans which are neither straight nor baggy and the "Trip" kick jean. The jeans also have some interesting finishes which have been hand treated to give them a oily (see above) or glossy appearance (see below).
