1) Why do you think after 200 years jeans are still one of the most popular items of clothing?
Because it is the ultimate basic
2) Last time I counted there were over 50 brands of premium denim jeans, what makes your jeans stand out from the rest?
It's the jean I've been dreaming of that I couldn't find
3) Who do you imagine is a typical customer?
Young urban girls who like fashion and style
4) Where do you get your inspiration from?
Inspiration from the 60's and 70's - flea market-vintage shop- vintage shapes readapted to nowadays envies
5) Which style and wash of your jeans are flying out of the shops the quickest at the moment?
Trash 5 pockets
6) Are there any essential jeans that everyone should have in their wardrobe?
A 5 pockets and a baggy jeans
7) What are the first pair of jeans you remember?
I used to have a ultra baggy jean from Marithe Francois Girbault. I died for it!!!!
8) What have been your favorite pair of jeans that you have owned?
My favourite jean was an old Levi's 501 from the 70's I baught in flea market
9) What have been your favorite pair of jeans that you have produced?
The trash baggy (see above)
10) How many pairs of jeans do you currently own and which are your favorites?
I stop counting but maybe more than 100 pairs. I am a real jean lover. And my favorites are of course My Lovely Jeans.
11) Are you a "wash your jeans after each wear" person or a "wear your jeans for six months before you wash them" person?
Big mistake to wash your jeans after each wear!!!
12) Do you own jeans for different occasions (for instance I have work jeans, smart jeans, weekend jeans, holiday jeans, jeans for going to concerts in, jeans for gardening in) if so what have you got?
No the essence of the jean is to be wearable for every occasion. It is more how you accesorise it!!
13) Which is your favourite jeans shop?
Tokyo is my favourite jean city with Hysteric Glamour or A and A.
14) Which celebs are currently wearing your jeans?
Vanessa Paradis - djette les putes a franges
15) How important big an effect does it have on your sales when a celeb is seen wearing a pair of your jeans?
We can be running out of stock after a week
16) Who is your current favourite denim icon (male & female). I am thinking the person who has the most denim style?

17) Which person living or dead would you most like to see in a pair of your jeans?
Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss
18) What is the worst denim crime?
To wash it every day

Boyfriend trousers
