Current / Elliott Summer 2009

Emily Current and Merrit Elliott are the duo behind mega-label Current/Elliott, They certainly put the boyfriend jean on the map and are carving out more space for themselves with their Summer 2009 collection. At first glance, I'm reminded of iconic films of the past like "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "Rebel Without A Cause". One thing is is for sure, their stylist skills are evident and there is something for everyone in the collection which features motorcycle jackets, vests, dresses and, of course, jeans. We've seen the vest recently on Kate Bosworth and I expect we'll be seeing much more as the summer gears up.
