My Inspiration - Donwan Harrell, Founder - Prps

Here is an real treat for denim fans - a guest blog from Donwan Harrel, Founder and Creative Director of Prps about where he gets his inspiration from.

Donwan: I thought it would be cool for me to do my first guest blog for denimology.com by showing the true inspiration behind Prps for the June edition. I do a lot of traveling for work so when it comes to "downtime" you can usually find me at a rally somewhere. Everything from the cars, to the clothes people wear are things that I'm always taking in.

The first set of images takes place at a car show in Carlisle, Pennsylvania featuring Ford National cars.

I saw a row of hot Gran Torinos all from Starsky and Hutch. All the owners are huge fans and enthusiasts of the show! To me, this was the hottest part of the car show.

Check out the sirens on top of the cars!!!

Collectors' items were featured in many of the cars....like Starsky and Hutch action figures.

Here's a great view from the top the hill overlooking the show filled of car enthusiasts.

As a child, I always dreamed of owning a muscle car. Today I'm fortunate enough to have a nice collection of vintage muscle cars. Here are a few in my garage in New Jersey. I can't really pick a favorite - I love them all equally. Here you'll see my '71 Road Runner, '69 Daytona (the car which Prps is based upon - a car owned by Big Willie Robinson), '62 Dart, '70 Cuda,'67 Shelby and my Ferrari.
