Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Spring 2011
Dolce & Gabbana's new collection was inspired by a what's old is new. The designers went back to what they know, sending classic Sicilian tailoring down the runway. A bit more than a handful of their denim came down the catwalk; only seductively distressed jeans loosely belted.
Although there was no daring denim, they did make sweaters and tanks that look a lot like a Sicilian fisherman's net. Now that may sound like a jab but actually it's not. The sweaters were my favorite pieces from the new line.
