$60MM Lifeline Saves Rock & Republic From Bankruptcy

The New York Post reports that troubled denim brand Rock & Republic has been saved bankruptcy via a $60 million investment from Bluestar Alliance (who also have interests in Liz Lange maternity wear and Sharper Image). The deal sees that creditors (who are apparently owed $41 million) get their money, whilst R&R Founder and CEO Michael Ball will stay on as Creative Director.
