Balmain Spring 2011 RTW - Paris

When it comes to inspiring designers as to what trends lie ahead Balmain designer, Christophe Decarnin holds the keys to the kingdom. The Balmain RTW 2011 show in Paris shows plenty of denim pieces including the ever so popular acid washes, torn jeans, my favorite striped jeans and the all important leather pant trend that we've seen this past season. Sure Balmain is out of my price range but I can still dream can't I?

  Balmains collection reminds me fo Burberry, but less refined. The thing is this collection is so much more Balmain where I think Burberry missed the mark. There is also way more denim and deconstruction here. I love it.
