Chanel Spring 2011 RTW Runway Show

Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel 2011 RTW collection in the regal style we have become accustomed to at Grand Palais with an 80 piece orchestra. The designer said new fabrics were one of his touchstones for the collection, but he distressed them with selvedge and ragged edges. With around 90 looks nothing was cuter than model Brad Kroenig and his son Hudson in matching double denim. With a who's who of the fashion world in the audience as well as on the stage, Lagerfeld continues to one up himself season after season giving all of us the eye candy we need to get through the day.

Even the female models look unhappy to be there --- and their clothes look pretty good.

As for that first male shot: it's a look that seems to need the 70's "man bag".

This show was amazing actually one of the best produced ones from what I could tell. I think the Denim was amazing. I love how it's so Chanel, but still very modern.
