G-Star Raw Lookbook Spring/Summer 2011 Men

Fashion shows tend toward fantasy, but when I was invited to the G-star showroom in downtown Soho yesterday, I had the opportunity to see and get the feeling of the "real" clothes that will be in stores by next February. Some of the jeans are made of vintage denim and have a cool patchwork look, others continue in the raw untouched dark selvedge denim. Deep, full-length rear pockets add a functional touch. Most of their jeans come with articulated knee designs in the style of motocross pants. Coins and studs surprise you by being sewn into unexpected places like the hems or the waistbands. The silhouette next season is relaxed without being too baggy whilst crotches are low and loose. No nut-hugging skinny jeans here!
