New Brand: s.k.e.. by Kunna Sneak Peek

After a few months of being a contributor to Denimology, I've found that my real passion is discovering an unknown or lesser-known brand such as s.k.e.. by KUNNA (s.k.e.. stands for Sugoku Kawaii, which means "super cute" in Japanese). Passing by their booth at Coterie made me stop in my tracks. Kunna truly has a cool and different approach to styling their denim. Their S/S 2011 women's collection focuses on details inspired by climbing gear from the 70's. Luxury fabrics with different washes and special coating techniques give them a casual, yet sophisticated look. The back pocket of the jeans has a hidden slot to tie a scarf or a chain according to your mood. They come in five fits: Loose Skinny, Skinny, Loose Skinny Shorts, Jodhpur and Sarouel (harem pants). These jeans will stop you in your tracks! Available in stores late november.
