Iron Heart Flannel Lined Water-Resistent Jeans

Japanese denim brand Iron Heart (who are renowned for their signature heavy weight 21oz jeans) have joined forces with specialist denim boutique Self Edge to produce a special pair of flannel-lined water-resistant jeans that are ideal for bikers, cyclists and urban warriors. The 21oz indigo selvedge denim has been lined with triple brushed black/gray flannel and the jeans are then waterproofed by being coated in paraffin. This sounds to me less like you will be wearing a pair of jeans and more like a set of denim armour. You may need to check with your bank manager before getting your credit card out though, because these bad boys are going to set you back a cool $650.

i had to hem more than my fair share of these in SF...it equaled almost, sewing hell. they weigh a ton and are perfect for snowboarding.
