Gemma Arterton For G-Star SS2011 Campaign

British actress Gemma Arterton joins chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen as the face of G-Star's Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign. The black and white portraits were captured by G-Star's favorite photog, Anton Corbijn.

In regards to her likeness to the denim based brand, Gemma says,

"I feel like a tough girl in a fancy frock sometimes, and I think G-Star is the same. I like the contradiction between glamour and durability. Sometimes people are shocked when they meet me because of this contradiction."
