Sav Style - Rue de Jeans Skinny Jeans

IMG_0084.JPG

Rue de Jeans may be the perfect post-holiday jeans. As I, like many others try to balance my food intake with exercise, Designer Cindy Yun may of come up with a handy problem solver. The Rue de Jeans tag on the back is actually elastic, allowing a comfortable fit with no gaping at the waistband when bending or sitting. This "gaping" issue is one that many people complain of and depending upon the style of jeans and your body shape it is one that really matters. The extra 2 inches one can get from this stretch in the waistband is sure to be appreciated by those who are feeling a little full after an overindulgent Xmas.

This style called the Skinny in Etoille and fits like a dream with a 7" rise and 28" inseam. A word of caution though they run a size small, so if you are ordering online, go a size up. Rue de Jeans uses Japanese and Italian fabrics and has made the decision to work initially with the skinny, straight leg, slimfit and bootcut styles for women. The denim contains the right amount of stretch and if comfort meeting simple style is Yun's objective here, then mission accomplished.

The Rue De Jeans Skinny Jeans reviewed here are available online for $175.
