American Apparel Jeans - Back To The Future

American Apparel have been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late, so I'm sure it's a relief for them to have something positive for people to talk about for a change. Last week we reported on the launch of their new denim collection and this week we have some shots of the jeans and shorts on offer. It seems like AA have taken a trip back to a more innocent time, before premium denim even existed. Yes, we are talking the 1980s here, a decade before denim had been introduced to lycra. Waists were high, cuts were unflattering and for some reason people actually thought carrot shaped jeans were a good idea. Well if that sounds like your bag then American Apparel are knocking out the jeans at $80 and the shorts for $58.
