Work Custom Jeans Fall 2011 Lookbook

On the rainiest day ever in Los Angeles team Work Custom Jeans (yours truly included) took over the grooviest tree house to shoot the WCJ Fall 2011 Lookbook. Photographer Ramon Felix shot model Sarah in a way that was great for me to learn from. Using mostly natural light (we only lost power part of the time) he had a very distinct vision of how he wanted the shot to look and I have to admit I've definitely started using gels when I shoot.

The collection keeps with Work Custom Jeans classic fit and clean lines, I've always liked that the brands details are subtle be it slight distressing or the perfect zippers. I love the cropped skinnies (future review) and most of all I love how classic Work Custom Jeans really are. As much as I was into distressed denim for a minute that is about as long as it lasted. I want my jeans to be comfortable and feel like an old friend from the point I put them on and I don't want to look sloppy or messy either. WCJ is a classic denim brand whether you are in Paris, New York, Cairo or Los Angeles a fact proven by their #1 fan Alessandra Ambrosio.

I will have a video lookbook up soon and yes, those are my shoes, Jessica Simpson Collection and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
