Beth Style - Elisabeth and James Jimi Jeans
Hello! I'm Bethany from Snakes Nest and I'm back with my second review! The sun is hot in California, and I've been swimming and soaking up the sun almost every day. I've been so busy lately, but it's been a good kind of busy! There's awesome news on my blog if you want to take a look! Well, I'll get started on the review! My daughter, Kylie, is sleeping so I have to take advantage of that!
I was SO excited when I saw I was going to be reviewing a pair of Jimi Jeans in Mystic Jeans by Elisabeth and James! They are known for their timeless styles and soft denim. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are actually co-designers! They are some of my fashion icons!
I never thought I would look good in flares, but I'm actually reconsidering my previous beliefs because of these jeans! The flare and dark shade actually made my legs look longer and thinner. The jeans were a bit too long though. They dragged on the floor even when I was wearing my highest platform heels! Something I found was strange was that there were no front pockets on the jeans. I guess that eliminates any bunching or bulging pocket problems, but I didn't' really like the missing pockets.
Other than the length and the missing pockets, the jeans were perfect. They fit me around the waist, stayed tight around my thighs, and then flared out at just the right point after my knee. The denim was so soft, stretchy, and light and I was really comfortable in them outside in the heat and indoors. You can really tell when you're wearing them that they are high quality jeans.
Since it's so hot, I paired these jeans with a loose leopard print top and some sunglasses. I added a few bracelets for a finishing touch. I think I could also wear these with a pretty crochet top and a fringy bag for a boho kind of look! These jeans were fantastic and I would definitely go out and buy a pair for myself!
The Jimi Jeans in Mystic Jeans by Elisabeth and James reviewed here are available online from BlueHeavenBoutique.
