Jen Style - J Brand 901 Legging in Grey Golden Snake
Hey lovelies! November is upon us and I am already anticipating Thanksgiving break. SO ready for a few days off from the daily grind with work. I'm in much need of: relaxation, indulging in yummy food and quality time with family members. This month I received some pretty rad jeans to review - these J Brand 901 Legging's in Grey Golden Snake being the front runners. I was in complete awe when I opened the package to see this amazing pair of jeans! The print is phenom... I couldn't wait to try them on! Animal prints are HUGE for fall, but the snake print is giving leopard print a run for its money. We're seeing snake print in handbags, belts, shoes, shirts, and of course JEANS, and I am LOVING it all!
I was a tad nervous about how this pair would fit since they have a wax-like coating on them. I reviewed a pair of J Brand wax coated jeans HERE and the fit was not entirely to my liking. I felt like they ran smaller than other J Brand styles, so the size 27 was not true for me. Luckily when I slipped this pair on, I was instantly pleased. The size 27 fit like a glove, yet I still had comfort and movement. Although I only wore this pair for a brief moment, I would assume that they would hold their fit and not stretch out too much since they are 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Plus the wax-like coating feels like it holds everything together nicely... kind of like what hair spray does for hair. ;)
The 31" inseam is perfect in my book. I don't like my skinny jeans or leggings to be too long - I don't like when they bunch up too much at the ankles. I'm 5'10 and I loved where this pair hit at my ankles.
I am really pleased with the overall look and fit - I would love to wear these jeans out at night because I know they would make for an awesome outfit. They just scream to be worn with a leather jacket too! ;) These jeans will definitely turn heads!!
I think the colors and print are expensive looking and perfect for fall and winter seasons. These jeans could be styled up or down and I even think you could get away with wearing a different color on top - versus the typical black or white.
These jeans are not for the tame, but if you love J Brand and you're fond of the snakeskin trend then snatch these up because they are HOT!!
