Big Star S/S 2012 Men's Lookbook

As I already mentioned when I posted Big Star's women's S/S12 lookbook, this company is one of the "oldies" in the denim world. When I checked them out just now at Project NY, they told me they were originally founded in Poland , while communism was still in full force there. They wanted, at that time, just to make a counter-culture statement. Denim has, in its long history, played this role in many societies - both east and west and it is so awesome to see a real live example... but enough politics for now. Let's just see what's in store for the men in S/S 2012!

The jeans I most liked in this collection where those slim cut (above), in their wash as well in that style. I just can't see anything cool in a guy that runs around with his baggy jeans hanging halfway down his butt. Big Star offers us good value for a good price. Their jeans sell for an average of $120.
