Hi everyone, First up you may notice an immediate change in these photos. I recently modelled for the L'oreal hair colour trophy and this involved getting my hair chopped off into a short bob! So this is my first review with my new shorter look :)
Today I am trying out 'The Stiletto' from Current/Elliott. Continuing on the patterned denim trend these ones are the 'sweet cream' colourway and feature a beautiful delicate pink pattern.
I have never really been one to wear white or paler coloured jeans, so these are an interesting change from my usual look and I do actually really love the colour and pattern on them. The pale and soft colour works really well for making a subtle statement without going overboard on the print trend.
Current/Elliott have always been a bit hit or miss for me in terms of fit, but I am happy to say that this style fit perfectly. They are a nice snug fit on the waistband but still allow for movement despite the lower rise. The leg is a skinny fit but again provides comfort and flexibility.
I was actually able to go a size smaller than my usual waist size in these jeans, They are a size 25 and still feel as though there is a little room for movement so I would advise to go a size lower than your usual on this style. (Which is a nice bonus to make you feel good!)
I have noticed that current elliott always have a really soft and comfortable fit, and these are no exception. The fabric content is 98% cotton and 2% elastane and provides the wearer with a really comfortable and easy feel.
The price point on these is slightly lower than some of the other luxury denims and so in my opinion these are a really great pair of jeans to invest in. They are easy to style being a subtle pattern and add a bit of a wow factor to what could be a very simple outfit! I have worn these with boots but as the name indicates these have a slightly cropped ankle which means you can show off your favourite stilettos or shoes beautifully.
