MET In MET-allics

Even though I am a staunch supporter of "pure" denim, sometimes I come across some jeans that are metallic, printed or otherwise treated... not quite matching my denim ideal - but bingo, I so like!

When I was visiting their facilities in Italy last month, they told me about these jeans and even though I politely tried to dissuade them, they still insisted I would love them.

When I received these jeans in the mail this week, I couldn't believe it. I fell passionately in lust with them! They don't look like nail polish, nor are they too shimmery; they are just RAD!! The denim material is clearly visible throughout the jeans and they look absolutely worn in and used; just the way I love it.

Let me just add that not only are these jeans extremely edgy and attention-getting, they are also soft and super comfy. I already thought of many different ways of pairing them. Slouchy and kind of relaxed, paired with an oversized boyfriend sweater and Frye boots, or totally dressed up with stilettos and a cute little blazer on top of a silk blouse.

Thank you MET, for giving me a pair of fashionable metallic jeans, that don't make me deny my love for denim!
