Gap Denim Spring 2011 Ad Campaign

No sooner is 2011 underway than all the big brands start unveiling their Spring/Summer ad campaigns. If anymore proof were needed that 2011 is going to be the year when the flare returned then look not further. Advertisers don't come much more mainstream than Gap, so when they start putting their models (Anja Rubik & Jac Jagaciak) in flares, then you know this style is back on the fashion map.

Dolce & Gabbana Men S/S 2011 Ad Campaign
The Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign features models Noah Mills, Adam Senn (who you may remember as the good-looking douchebag from the first season of The City), David Gandy, Tony Ward & Sam Webb playing a bunch of swarthy looking denim clad dudes who enjoy nothing better than a little male bonding whilst launching a small fishing boat.
William Rast for Target Ad Campaign
Model Tyler Riggs takes front and center in the ad campaign for William Rast's capsule collection with Target. The marketing money for these collections can catapult a brand to the masses while hopefully creating a new customer for William Rast that will continue to be loyal once the collection has left Target stores.
2010: Editorial Denim Was Top Trending
Denim days for editorial denim were a plenty last year! What was your favorite denim feature from 2010? Joanna of FGR says,
"2010 was not only the year of retro and nomad, but also the year of denim. Fashion went casual for 2010 with fashion editors pieces together wardrobes of blue jeans in the form of overalls, skirts, dresses and pants. From Vogue Germany to Elle Italia, it was a good year to be relaxed!"
Sportmax Code Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign
For Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign Sportmax Code have found themselves a pair of models (Emily Senko and Samantha Gradovill) who could be sisters and fitted them out with a selection of flared jeans, denim shirts and skirts straight straight outta the 1970s.
Hilfiger Denim Spring/Summer 2011 Video Ad
The simple approach is often the best when it comes to denim ads and this video for the Hilfiger Denim Spring/Summer 2011 Collection proves that point nicely. Take a single fixed camera and point it at a bunch of beautiful young things wearing the denim being advertised and add a great soundtrack. Job done.
