Hanneli Mustaparta For Rag And Bone

25_HANNELI_MUSTAPARTA_RAG_BONE_DIY_02.jpg

We've told you before about Rag & Bone's DIY campaign. And about Hanneli Mustaparta, Norwegian fashion model turned blogger and regular contributor for Vogue.com among others, who completes this season's cast of DIY girls. With pictures taken in London, Paris, New York, Norway and Sweden, Hanneli shows herself "up close and personal" in a series of intimate photographs taken on her trips and in her apartment.

Remember Rag & Bone DIY means just that - Do It Yourself: Here's a camera. Here are the clothes. Now show us how you wear these rad Rag & Bone duds!! Maybe it's my European roots, but I have to admit that I adore those pictures taken in her apartment. I love the way Hanneli is not overdone, but looks just like the girl next door when you catch her doing her everyday stuff, playing her piano and drinking her coffee. I actually feel as if I know her, which, of course, I don't - but what I mean is that the way she shows herself and the clothes she puts together, I can so totally identify! Hanneli, kudos to you! :-) And a great big thanks to Rag & Bone for giving us these fabulous clothes that go with us anywhere, anytime :-))

7-for-all-mankind-wwwd-james-franco-man-Favim.com-81674.jpg

Possibly one of Hollywood's most academically accomplished stars; he has 4 degrees: a BFA and 3 MFA's. He does charity work for Art of Elysium, has a Private Pilots License, he's a mathematician and has his own production company: Rabbit Bandini Productions. I think I failed to mention that he's a producer, writer, editor, director. And oh yeah, an actor but not just any actor but ann Oscar winning, Emmy winning, Golden Globe winning actor! Oooh, that's fancy!

Well, now he'll add photographer and director of a major advertising campaign for heavy hitting L.A. denim brand, 7 For All Mankind. The actor will direct and capture the new multimedia spring 2012 campaign. For his first ever advertising shoot, Franco, will shoot celebs and models for the campaign. As for the theme, it will all California, baby.

Rafael Nadal For Armani Jeans Video

In the latest video from Armani Jeans a dapper Rafael Nadal appears to be being pursued through an carpark and so decides to evade capture by stripping out of a regular tuxedo and slipping into a texas tuxedo for his escape. It might not make much sense, but it does at least ensure that everyone gets a look at the goods ie. the jeans, the underwear and Raf's impressive abs.

Lee South Africa F/W 2012 Ad Campaign

Denim is a global business and we pride ourselves on being able to provide coverage worldwide thanks to our network of contributors based in Europe, America and Australia. One continent which is seriously under-represented though is Africa, so I was pleased to receive an email from Clair in South African with details of a new ad campaign. Lee is one of those global brand's that make use of different marketing messages for each of their markets and for Fall/Winter 2012 in South Africa they have launched a campaign titled "The City Is Mine". Created in Australia by the agency Virtue, the images have been used by South Africa for their local market. The concept is all about encouraging people to be passionate about their city, which according to these campaign images seems to translate as - slip on a pair of Lee denim cut-offs and the city will be yours... or at least you will get free drinks all night!

Rihanna For Armani Jeans Video

After showing you the ad campaign and the teaser - finally here is the real McCoy!

Directed by Steven Klein, this B&W short shows an LBD-clad Rihanna cooling her heels in the backseat of a classic car. Suddenly, another vintage vehicle enters the parking garage and it's hot male driver. He hands a heavy leather duffel bag to the singer's refrigerator-sized bodyguard. Its contents? Painted-on jeans and a black leather jacket, which a blonde-cropped Rihanna sloooooowly slips into, but not before a strip down that provides plenty of juicy lingerie shots.

After her wardrobe change, the sexy star exits the car and strides confidently into the parking garage elevator, which--hello!--happens to be occupied by the same foxy delivery man.

Joe's Jeans explains, "The fabric has the advanced versatility of indigo yarns allowing for complete customization of fabric finishes.
