Update! See.... sometimes you have got to trust your gut. I should have trusted mine. Instead, I followed a tip that these were Paige jeans even though I did think that it looked like Ms. Alba was wearing a rather high rise jean. Yes, I doubted myself. As I hang my head in shame, I tell you, my lovely readers that these are in fact a FABULOUS pair of NOBODY jeans. They are Nobody Cult Straight-Leg Jeans in Addict. I've added my proof in the thumbnails below.
I've added the images I studied for my comparisons. Take note of the fly which is identical, take note of the fading that reaches just below the knee, notice the way the denim crinkles around the ankle and it's so obvious that the photographer who took the professional images of the jeans lightened the resolution to show off the wash closest to how it appears in real life. For some reason, they do that and it always makes the denim lighter.

Elegance Lies in Simplicity
I came upon this photo spread randomly looking at some of my favorite European blogs a bit back. I tried to identify its origins but came up empty (so please do comment if you know) that said, I think it's worthy of posting as it is beautifully shot and casually stunning. Featuring a plethora of denim and a stunning model (albeit a very thin model) it speaks to the title of this entry as elegance does lie in simplicity. I've been working on my photography skills of late and I will definitely draw inspiration in the future from this shoot both in terms of layout and dress.
