Jean Paul Gaultier: Denim Tube Tops for Men?

Okay, we know fashion shows can be a little out there, but what was Jean Paul Gaultier thinking with his tube tops for men this year? Not only that, DENIM tube tops for men! Do we think there is any chance in h-e-double-hockey-sticks that this trend might catch on in the general public? I don't know too many men secure enough in their masculinity to pull off a tube top. Although, I never thought pink polo shirts would catch on with men either, so who knows... Check out the denim on the runway from this year's Paris Fashion Week.

Etro Menswear 2010

Etro kept their denim looks fairly simple on the runway this year, with lighter denim and trendy cuffs styled with pastels for spring.





Vivienne Westwood 2010 Menswear

I'm not sure quite what to say about Vivienne Westwood's 2010 Menswear collection and these denim looks. Let's hope these looks were created out of fun, and that the button-fly giant hammer-pants jean held up by suspenders does not actually hit stores or become a new trend in denim.




Cheap Monday Spring/Summer 2010 Menswear
Cheap Monday stayed with the ripped, destroyed and acid washed trends that we've been seeing prevalent in denim at Fashion Week. They threw in a few surprises such as the tied up denim shirt featured above. The Spring/Summer 2010 collection also featured lots of skinny denim for men and cut off shorts.








Missoni 2010 Menswear

Missoni at Milan Fashion Week was another designer that clearly agrees with the denim on denim look, featuring an array of looks that played on multiple blue tones. The collection included loose jeans, chambray shirts and denim blazers.
