This is the funniest [excerpt from a] review I've read in a little while because it's absolutely true. From WWD.com-
Roberto and Eva Cavalli have created a parallel fashion universe in which it is pointless to judge whether clothes are good or bad; rather they must be measured on a scale of Cavalli-ness.This collection's jaguar-spotted coats, embellished chain mail tops, shredded jeans and dangly, ornamented belts rate high, i.e. very Cavalli.
Let us not forget the chambray/denim suitcoats either! They are quite shiny so very indeed Cavalli!
D&G Fall 2010 Womenswear RTW
Is that it?! That's the all that comes to mind really! I mean in the mens line you got LOADS of looks and then for the ladies you get three denim looks..... In the words of Britney Spears Gimme, Gimme More D&G!
P.S. What's this wearing sheer clothing and bloomers in the dead of winter thing? A lovely line but I think you confused the seasons boys.
Ann Sofie Back Fall 2010 Denim Looks
Designer Ann Sofie Back explained that her collection had been influenced by the online game phenomenon Second Life in which people take on electronic alter egos. She fascinated (and then inspired) that most people had an airbrushed complexion, a tiny dog and fake boobs. Her Denim had lots of tulle and muscles airbrushed on. I'm curious what the pieces will look like once for sale in shops.
Rumer Willis in Ksubi Jeans
I'm back on Ksubi watch with Rumer Willis and we last left the count with 2 of the 50 pairs she "reportedly" bought in Australia. I will admit that these are the same jeans, the Ksubi Super Skinny Zip Jeans as our #2 sighting, so don't go on telling me this doesn't count as #3 when I do 50 entries of her in Ksubi jeans I will let it go.
Twenty8Twelve F/W 2010 - London Fashion Week
It isn't always that an actress with great personal style can translate her taste to a clothing collection, yet Sienna Miller and sister Savannah have met this challenge again with their Fall/Winter collection presented at London Fashion Week. Denim continues to have a multitude of acid washes as skinny jeans seem to be here to stay, a denim vest continues to be a girls best friend this season casually worn with the most beautiful of dresses (and my favorite chunky heels). While many starlets venture into the crowded designer landscape the Twenty8Twelve line (along with the Olsen's Elizabeth and James line) would be just as good if the designers didn't merit a 24/7 paparazzi watch.
Commonwealth Utilities F/W 2010 - NYFW
At their Fall/Winter 2010 Show by Commonwealth Utilities the denim was for the most part dark, straight-leg and turned up far enough to show plenty of sock-less male ankle.
