Cheap Monday F/W 2010 - Stockholm
When a denim brand is showing it can sometimes be a little uninspiring to watch, at least if it's a runway show. But Cheap Monday went past boring to beyond awesome for their Fall/Winter 2010 show at Stockholm Fashion Week. First, the location was truly amazing, they showed at Magasin 9, a huge storage-like warehouse with a long simple runway and perfect lightning, just the way I like it! Frida Gustafsson, Sara Blomqvist and Elsa Sylvan were working the runway like the supermodels they are. And the music was pumping hard! Besides this awesome-ness there was clothes - obviously. What caught my eye the most was a pair of jeans with mesh panels (see below). This feels real fresh and gives the denim a sporty look. I also liked the lace up jeans (see below), they looked steaming hot! The color scheme was black and lots of greys and they showed several stone washed jeans. The jeans silhouette was skinny, real skinny. Another trend was the grey hoodies underneath coats and blazers (see bottom). I absolutly love this trend, hoodies go so great with jeans so I'm glad they are back in fashion!

Diesel RTW Fall 2010

Diesel's RTW Fall 2010 show was in a word: Fresh. They continued their punk rock look with multicolored, studded and stone washed denim. Looks were inspired by military theme and 80's over sized and baggy Fame style clothing. The models walked to Tainted Love and Rock the Casbah.

Balmain Homme Fall/Winter 2010 Collection
The Balmain Homme Fall/Winter 2010 Collection continues the theme they started last year with jeans that are either ripped and grungy or that feature the same moto-styling that has been so popular with the ladies over the last 12 months.
Valerija Kelava in Dazed and Confused

I remember seeing this House of Holland denim bodysuit on the runway and hoping to see it either on a celebrity or in an editorial. February's Dazed and Confused Magazine features Valerija Kelava wearing the bodysuit in an editorial that is spectacular. Shot by Karim Sadli and styled to perfection by Karen Langley this is why Dazed and Confused is one of my favorite magazines.

Dsquared2 Men's Fall 2010

Hockey, blood and some very beautiful boys were on hand to show Dsquared2 Men's Fall 2010 collection. I would like to tell you all I fully approve of this glorification of tough, blood spattered guys in only the finest denim courtesy of the fine peeps at DSquared2. Oh yeah, and Tokio Hotel lead singer Bill Kaulitz opened the show!
