When I first saw these photos I wasn't sure whether actress Blake Lively was carrying a toy in her arm or a real dog. But it turns out that cute little thing is actually her real pooch Penny. She colour coordinated her toy dog perfectly with an autumnal pair of J Brand's "912" Low-rise Pencil Leg jean in Coated Clay.
Freida Pinto In J Brand Skinny Jeans in Aubergine
We have a new front runner for my favourite photo of 2011. Until today it was Annalynne McCord who was snapped looking so chic in a pair of J Brand Bette hi-rise wide leg jeans back in April, but now that image has been overtaken by these fabulous shots of Freida Pinto. I love everything about these photos - Freda Pinto is one of the most beautiful actresses in the world and these J Brand "811" Mid-Rise Skinny Leg in Aubergine are taking the coloured jeans trend (which has been popular all year) and evolving it in a more muted direction that is perfect for Autumn. Are you noticing a theme in both my favourite photos - J Brand. It's been quite a year for this company, they seem to produce one denim hit after another without pausing for breath.
Work Custom Jeans Fall/Winter 2011
My first weekend of summer was spent with friends shooting the Work Custom Jeans Fall Lookbook and as Fall is now upon us it is time to finally roll this editorial and video out. Our team was photographer Dylan Jet (who I've known since 4th grade) model Paris Duff - one of the nicest people you will ever meet,Trevor Wolfe and Vanessa Dubasso made this one of the best days.
It goes without saying that I'm a Work Custom Jeans fan and I've converted many friends at this point including the guys. Yes, Trevor is wearing WCJ and wears them all the time (of note is those are Forever 21 shorts he's wearing and their his). I so love the faux leather Leggera and the wine color is a perfect addition to the color palette. Work Custom is classic with a twist I never tire of the jeans and feel that there is no trend I'm falling into when I wear them.
This will always serve as a time capsule for me of good times with friends, a world in flux and navigating my role in life.
