There are times when you'd like to be the center of attention but you'd rather not pull a "I'mma Let You Finish" à la Kanye. Nor do you really want to go flashing your Britney for attention. Sometimes you'd like to steal the spotlight by doing no more than gracing the theoretical stage with your very literal existence.

One of the cutest blogs out there, Daddy Likey put together this great guide on how to shop for jeans. In fact, we thought it was fab enough that it needed no tweaking! A compliment in itself! So with no further ado, here is Daddy Likey's Jeans Shopping 101

• Plan ahead. For example, don't schedule your shopping trip right after your dinner at the pasta buffet. Leave plenty of time to peruse the store. Pack a flask and rescue flares in case things get really bad.

• Know exactly what kind of jeans you're shopping for and dress accordingly. If you're looking for relaxed everyday jeans, wear casual shoes, shirt, and undergarments. If you're searching for some trendier denim to wear with heels at night, then wear your stilettos and a clingy top to the store. Want a pair of skinny jeans to tuck into your boots? Wear your boots into the dressing room and tuck those suckers in.

• Keep a ballpark price in mind. And no, $20 - $200 is not a ballpark. Is this going to be a sale rack kind of day, or is this going to be the day you spend some (or all) of your savings on a pair of designer jeans?

According to the DailyMail, two million people hold onto their favorite jeans for up to 40 years - despite the fact that they may never fit into them in that time! But its true - with a few pounds shed and a few decades, most styles do come back into fashion and "vintage" denim is the most sought-after. A survey of 1,000 visitors to the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex found the average pair of British jeans is six years old and women hang on to them for longer than men. Nearly half of all adults believe jeans will never go out of fashion. How could they?

3 out of every 10 women as compared to 12 percent of men keep old pairs of jeans in hopes that they will be able to squeeze back into them someday. I just dug through my closet and found at least 6 pairs that either I am hanging on to because they are my "when I lose 5 more pounds" jeans or because they will return to style again.
