Baldwin F/W 2012 Lookbook
Baldwin is an authentic American denim brand that manufactures all its jeans here in the US and became known for their preferred used of raw selvedge denim. This season they appear to have diversified a little, as we see a range of slim fitting colored jeans here. The colors are kind of muted, very "Autumn" inspired, probably by the leaves of the trees in fall. Except for the red jeans that jump right at you when you look at these pictures. I also love that they have a wide range of different washes in their denim shirts, giving you great options for making any kind of double denim outfit work.
Denimocracy S/S 2012 Lookbook Update
Here is an update of what to expect from Denimocracy for this coming spring and summer. Besides their regular jeans - those flares above really look awesome - Denimocracy will be continuing with their trademark patterned jeggings for which they have become so famous. These jeggings are really incredible, so much so that even I - a declared "jegging avoider" - use them when I am in the mood for some outrageous prints combined with the most comfortable and soft feeling jeans.
Brand To Watch: One Green Elephant S/S 2012
Looking at this collection, I'm like, why green elephant and why not multi-coloured elephant!? What a pleasure to see these playful and so very summer-like looking jeans.
Now, on a more serious side, this Asian brand, One Green Elephant, was founded in Asia in 2008 and is a real GREEN brand. Their jeans are made of 100% organic cotton. Good for our environment and fun for us to wear! They are selling already in many countries in Europe and are, as they say: "Ready to conquer the rest of the world".
Agave Denim S/S 2012 Women's Lookbook
If you watch our twitter or our facebook, you see that I wear a lot of Agave Denim. I just love their jeans. I wear the brand at least once a week but on most weeks, they show up at least twice.
Jeff and Lauren Shafer packed their Spring 2012 collection full of color! The couple tackled a "West Coast Luxury" kind of vibe for the new season. The husband and wife owners/designers, Jeff and Lauren Shafer are both extremely passionate about finding the most innovative luxury fabrics every season. They feel this determines every element of their design details and fits.
I simply love the vintage brights denims coming in colors like garnet red, beach glass and citrus. Also, they included the perfect denim skirt called the "Dolce". It's a paneled pencil skirt with high waist.
Agave Denim S/S 2012 Men's Lookbook
Agave Denim aims for perfection with every pair of jeans. Their designers, Jeff and Lauren Shafer, pay much attention to the fit and finish of their clothing.
Their Spring collection is packed with color reminiscent of sunny trips and beautiful vacations to Baja during the sixties and seventies. Continuing their dedication to being the best, the Shafers use only the finest Japanese, Italian or USA-made Supima cotton denims and luxury fabrics and work with select boutique mills to design fabrics exclusive to Agave.
I'm in love with the brands clean aesthetic and minimal looks for the gentleman this season. For Agave men's Jeff chose more subdued tones in natural whites, gray, olive, khaki, browns and rusty orange.
S.O.S. Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook
S.O.S. has been around for more than 30 years. I am happy to be able to show some of their new Spring/Summer 2012 looks here.... although I am kind of distracted right now. Looking at the pictures of the model in an airport makes me feel like wearing this outfit and heading off to somewhere nice and sunny!
