Savannah Style - Paige "Silverlake" Shorts
A staple in nearly every wardrobe is the jean short and as I headed out to an event last week I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to review Paige "Silverlake" Shorts. Named after the popular Los Angeles hipster area these shorts are soft to the touch and have the feel of a pair you've washed and worn hundreds of times. While fitting true to size and extremely comfortable I wish they were about an inch shorter in leg length. Not Daisy Duke short by any means just a bit shorter would of been more flattering on me. I will commend Paige on the wash of the denim it's natural worn look and feel are authentic to a pair of truly worn jeans.
We stopped on Melrose Avenue and shot these photos by the Helmut Lang store I'm really loving a classic tailored shirt look right now. My friend gave me this shirt and I've been wearing it a lot lately. Paired with some tights, a t-shirt and platforms (I promise to not wear my Jeffrey Campbell "Snick" shoes in the next shoot and may need to go shopping for some new shoes to wear soon) I fit in with the hipster fashion crowd at the event I went to at the Revolve store on Melrose. This is my last week of school and I turn 16 at the end of the month so I'm really looking forward to this summer and all things ahead! Finals are over and with the exception of Field Day (which I won't actually be participating in due to my minimal sporting skills) this next week is going to be a blast!
