Ali Larter In Vintage Levi's
Now I love modern women's premium denim as much as the next person. All the technological advancements of the last 10 years such as 4-way stretch and spandex help ensure today's jeans fit better than ever before. But is there really anything better that classic pair of faded vintage (and by vintage I am talking pre-2000) Levi's - as demonstrated by Ali Larter, seen here at The Art Of Elysium Summer Event in Malibu earlier this week.
Gaudi S/S 2011 Ad Campaign
Italian brand Gaudi (or Gaudi Trade as they sometimes call themselves) hired male supermodel Eugen Bauder as the face of the brand for S/S 2011 and as this is the only reason I found this editorial I would say that was a good decision. The line which is moderately priced reminds me a lot of Zara and if these looks are any indication of what they have I would love them to make it to the States!
Galliano S/S 2011 Lookbook
Waking up on the weekend and having some coffee while going through my favorite sites can lead to unexpected inspiration, like the S/S 2011 Galliano Lookbook. Featuring Jacquelyn Jablonski and Francisco Lachowski, the collection is the perfect balance of street chic meets high end design. All these looks are achievable for me using what I already have in my closet (with some tailoring here and there) and I especially love Galliano's nod to 80's grunge with tiara's and slip dresses. The denim and military looks are styled to perfection and definitely on my radar for upcoming outfits.

William Rast for Target Lookbook
I'm one of those consumers who have delighted in Target collaborations and been disappointed as well. Rodarte killed it, so did Libertine although I was disappointed with Jovovich-Hawk and Gautier. What always seemed exciting was how these designers would translate their talents into affordable wear. I don't know that there is anything to see that is new in the William Rast collection other than fans of the brand (and there are many with good reason) can now get their fashions at a more affordable price point. The collaboration hits Target (and their website) December 19th just in time for Holiday shopping!

It is so great to see Irina Lazareanu gracing the pages of Marie Claire's October issue. She's one of my favorite models and I am beside myself over the Charley 5.0 red denim leggings featured in this editorial. With great ideas on how to work denim into your wardrobe whether for day or night this layout is superb!
Balmain Spring 2011 RTW - Paris
When it comes to inspiring designers as to what trends lie ahead Balmain designer, Christophe Decarnin holds the keys to the kingdom. The Balmain RTW 2011 show in Paris shows plenty of denim pieces including the ever so popular acid washes, torn jeans, my favorite striped jeans and the all important leather pant trend that we've seen this past season. Sure Balmain is out of my price range but I can still dream can't I?
