Rock & Republic, like a lot of other denim brands, have distinguishing back pockets. But sometimes they can get confusing! There are many different pockets that the company has introduced and I have attempted to combine them all here, with pictures!
There are many variations within the type of pocket, but the overall design is the same. Variations may include leather, crystals, studs, or different types of thread. For example, under the "Sexy R," there are studded and crystalized versions, but the R shape stays the same. Another example is the "Death Metal" pocket; many variations of this exist, including tri-colored leather, studded, crystalized, or any combination of them.
I have grouped them into Men and Women versions, and included the Women-only pockets. I have not included non-embellished pockets (for instance, Scorpion for women and Fearless for men), where the pockets are left without any decoration as part of the style. This guide only focuses on pairs that actually have a design on the back pockets.
Without further ado...the Rock & Republic Visual Pocket Guide!
*Note: A Men's pair is shown first, a Women's pair is shown second (if applicable). Remember that many variations exist! I only picked one at random from each design. After each "R" I have listed what they come in off the top of my head. These can come in any combination (for example, in the picture of the women's Sexy R [leather and studded]).
Classic R (also referred to as the "Old R") - these come in tri-color (or multicolor in the case of women's Rainbows), single color, "snakeskin," studded, and crystalized versions

Sexy R (also referred to as the "New R") - these come in tri-color, single color, leather, studded, and crystalized versions

Upright Monogram Sigs (short for "signature," or just "upright monograms") - these can come in leather or stitched, or multi-colored leather as in the women's example. Also note that these are NOT mirrored unlike other pockets, so both left and right pockets look the same!

Slanted Monogram Sigs (or just "slanted monograms") - these can come in regular stitching, leather, studded, or crystalized. These, unlike their upright cousins, ARE mirrored. These also come in gradient versions!

Vato R - these generally come in leather, studded, or crystalized. There is also a plaid version in women's. They can also come in a "felt," velvety material as well

Death Metal R - these come in leather, studded, crystalized, or just regular stitched (also in that velvety material), or any combination of them

Winged R - these come in feathered (just regular stitched), leather, studded, or crystalized. Lots of variations with this one.

Bianca R - also called the "54 R" on some pairs, these generally come in crystalized versions for women. These are RARE in men's pairs, limited to samples or store-exclusives so far (i.e. the pair here, Vaughn Wireshock, was a Neiman Marcus exclusive). On womens pairs they are more common, though still not as popular (I love these!).

Skulls - these are usually leather or stitched. Many different colors exist!

Riddell R - so far, these have come in foil, studded, stitched (feathered, like the mens pair here) and leather. A relatively-new pocket design.

Slippery R - also a relatively-new pocket design, these are generally Pacheco (as in the mens example, where the R looks "fuzzy" and filled in) or crystalized in the womens example.

Slayer R - an older design, these are harder to find in men's pairs than women's. I've only seen them in regular thread version (no leather, etc.)

Women-only pairs!
The following are only found on women's pairs (as far as I know).
Crowns - these come in two versions: the Victoria Beckham version (with the VB logo inside) and the R&R version. Both come typically with crystals (VB version is shown first here).

(Green crowns...so pretty)
Cursive R - actually a misnomer, since these Rs are not cursive at all. These are a relatively-new pocket design, and I've seen them crystalized. These ARE mirrored.

Flaming Hearts - only found on women's pairs!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/Pyricist/Rock%20and%20Republic/flamingheart_women.jpg
Chromas - these are based off the older R&R logos with flames on the side. Many colors exist, but they are relatively hard to find.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/Pyricist/Rock%20and%20Republic/chroma_women.jpg
Double R - As far as I know, Double Rs only come in one wash (Nicotine). These are very hard to find, to my knowledge.

"Cursive" Rock(?) - as far as I know, no retail pair with this design exists. They were spotted at the last sample sale in LA on a pair of women's jeans. No word on whether it will be mass-produced.
