Japanese men's denim is the best you can buy, so it's always exciting when a new style is launched. San Francisco's specialist denim retailer Self Edge spent nine months working with legendary Japanese denim manufacturers Sugarcane and the results are a mid/low-rise, narrow-leg jean made with specially crafted 13oz Japanese denim. The jeans cost $305 are available from online and from Self Edge's SF store but you had better be quick because this is a one off production and once they are sold out no more will be produced.

Currently the jeans will only be available October 31st - November 15th at Murakami's KaiKai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo. Hopefully they will be mass produced and more readily available but for now those of us outside of Japan can only admire great art from afar.
