3sixteen+ 10BSP - Straight Leg Indigo Jeans
Last month when I bought these jeans by Strike Gold I promised myself that this would be the last pair I would be getting for a while. I have more jeans than any reasonable person requires, in fact if I wore nothing but denim every day for the rest of my life I probably wouldn't get through half of my jeans. But the problem is that specialist denim store Self Edge just keep stocking new styles that I am powerless to resist. This month they have these bad boys from 3Sixteen+, the 10BSP is made from rope dyed indigo selvedge denim and weighs in at a healthy 14oz. Five minutes after discovering these my promise was forgotten as I had my credit card out and was punching the numbers into their shopping cart. If SelfEdge continue adding cool new denim like this to their range them I am going to need to buy a bigger wardrobe.
Moussy Fall 2010 Featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw

Abbey Lee Kershaw revisits her role as the face of Moussy for A/W 2010. Wearing one of my favorite trends of the moment the camo-jean and looking fierce with throwback hair and make-up. Shot by Yasutomo Ebisu the Japanese label is a favorite of models having done t-shirt collaborations with Irina Lazareanu and always has a fashionable edgy look.

Ichiro Suzuki x Levi's Collaboration
Levi's Japan and baseball player Ichiro Suzuki have collaborated on a pair of jeans based on the iconic 501. The jeans are embellished with paint splashes, yellow rivets featuring the player's shirt number plus a stripey inner lining which can be folded around the turn-ups for an interesting effect. Stussy x Levi's Japan Denim Collaboration
Here's an interesting collaboration from two big name brands. Levi's and Stussy have got together to produce a small capsule collection featuring two washes of 505 jeans and three styles of cargo shorts. The jeans are obviously of more interest to us at Denimology and feature the Stussy World Tribe logo on the coin pocket, along with rips that have been patched up with Stussy designed fabric. They are available from the Levi's Japan online store. (Source: Freshnessmag)
Strike Gold Arrives At Self Edge
San Francisco's specialist denim store Self Edge is without a doubt one of my favourite stores. I pretty much want to buy everything they sell, so it's just as well they don't have a store in London. It's always interesting when they start stocking a new brand and this week they announced that they will be the first retailer in the US selling jeans from Japanese brand Strike Gold. They have two styles, the SG1101 jean which is a straight leg (above) and the SG1105 jean which is a slim-straight (below). Both are made from 14.5oz unsanforized Japanese selvedge denim which they say has loads of character and should age beautifully. These have gone straight onto my denim wish-list.
Levi's Loved To Death 501s
Levi's Japan have raided the archives again to produce these "Loved To Death" 501s which are based on a pair once worn by a chap called Homer Campbell, who judging by the amount of patches was not keen to retire these jeans. (Source: HighSnobiety)
