Diesel Jogg-Jeans

jgg1.jpg

Here's an interesting new product concept from Diesel - they have taken jeans and genetically spliced them together with sweatpants to produce a mutant offspring called Jogg-jeans. The logic behind this new product evolution makes perfect sense - nothing looks cooler than denim and nothing feels more comfortable than sweatpants, so why not combine the two and get the best of both worlds. They are available for both men and women from July 1st exclusively at Selfridges.com and then nationwide at Diesel stores from the first week of August. If you want get the inside track and find out what these jeans are really like, then check back later today when Charlotte will be reviewing them.

G-Star have been producing what they call 3D Denim for 15 years now and to celebrate they are introducing the Arc Pant. This very contemporary pair of jeans combines a drop-crotch with asymmetric tapered legs for a modern looking silhouette that is distinctively G-Star.

balmain-spring-menswear-2012--1.jpg

The house of Balmain is looking pretty fresh since Christophe Decarnin's departure. Former assistant Olivier Rousteing gives us menswear including long-ish tux jackets, clean (de-gaudied) biker jeans, and leather jackets. But new to the collection is a range of pieces in pastel including tees, scarves, and even biker jeans in lemon, mint, and orange. Check out the rest of the collection here.

Neuw Black Colour Collection

GIRLS_PINK_700.jpg

This season every denim brand has their own version of coloured denim and Australian label Neuw (who we first featured last Autumn) have come up with Black Colour. This collection for both men and women features a more subdued range of hues compared to some of the candy-coloured denim we have seen from other brands. Check their website for stockists.

Simon Spurr 5th Anniversary Jeans

174407_mrp_ou_xl.jpg

MrPorter.com is rapidly becoming one of my favourite men's online retailers. Even if you aren't in the spending mood it is a great store to just browse through. One of the products that caught my eye was this special 5th Anniversary Jeans from Simon Spurr, there were only 100 of them manufactured and MrPorter have got their hands on 50 of them. Each pair if individually numbered and signed. The price is pretty steep at £394.99, but then that is what you have to pay to ensure that there are only going to be 99 other people in the world looking as cool as you.
