Lindsay Lohan In DL1961 Jeans
Whenever I see current photos of Lindsay Lohan I can help but wonder - what happened to that cute strawberry blonde girl that everyone loved? I am not a fan of the overdyed blonde hair and pumped up lips which make her look like every other wannabe in LA. Anyway, less about her face and more about her jeans, in these pix, taken in Manhattan earlier this week, she is wearing a pair of DL1961 Jeans, accessorized with a pair of Chanel headphones - am I the only person than did not realise luxury brands were not getting into the headphone market?
Charlize Theron In Double Denim
Usually I have a rule that is - if you can't ID the denim, then don't bother posting, but then every now and again along comes someone that looks so good I have to throw the rulebook away. Everyone knows that double denim is hard to pull off, but Charlize Theron makes it look easy in a pair of cropped skinny jeans (which look like J Brand to me but I can't be sure) and a faded denim shirt.
UPDATE: Thanks to Veronica who suggests that Charlize is wearing a Current Elliott Perfect Denim shirt and Rag and Bone Dover skinny jeans.
Twenty8Twelve Spring 2011 Lookbook
Sienna Miller and sister Savannah have consistently impressed me with their Twenty8Twelve collections and the Spring 2011 lookbook hits it out of the park. Looking at the images shown here I was reminded of the Jovovich/Hawk line, a favorite of mine that I missed out both in age and ability to buy. Inspired by vintage with a decidedly current twist, both of these collections reflect the women behind the labels and their individual style. Sienna Miller apparently can't have a bad hair day and although her film career has been eclipsed by her personal life her fashion line is where she gets her best results.
Fergie in Balmain Jeans
Mad respect to Fergie who showed up at an event in Los Angeles wearing Balmain's Skinny Striped Jeans and T-Shirt. My favorite jean of the season that I don't have and at $2,500 I won't be getting a pair soon. Balmain always inspires me to tatter and pin a t-shirt or bug a designer I know who has striped jeans in production that aren't ready yet!
Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham Denim
Here's a bit of breaking news for you - Victoria Beckham Shocks World By Wearing Same Outfit Twice. In the nearly five years I have been doing this site we have featured VB many many times and one thing you can count on is that she is very very rarely seen out in the same item of clothing twice, let alone the same outfit. So it's quite a surprise to see that when she left London for LA yesterday she wearing the same Victoria Beckham Denim jeans, t-shirt and leather jacket as she did at New York Fashion Week recently. Maybe this is a sign of austerity in the Beckham household.
Georgia May Jagger Launches GMJ By Hudson Jeans
Hudson hit the jackpot when rock-n-roll royalty Georgia May Jagger joined the brand to collaborate on a denim collection. When you are a Jagger a launch party at Selfridges followed by a dinner at the Ivy is a must. Flanked by her mother, Jerry Hall and brother James Jagger, Georgia celebrated with Hudson Creative Director Benjamin Taverniti.
