LUISAVIAROMA's 2nd Edition FIRENZE 4 EVER Event
Florence, Italy based store Luisa Via Roma has invited Denimology to attend their 2nd FIRENZE 4 EVER event. As a part of the event, all bloggers attending will participate in their "Total Look Styling Lab" where I will style a model using anything and everything from the S/S 2011 collections which is or will be available at both their store and online store.
Last time, style bloggers Bryan Boy and Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes were in attendance. I'm excited to find out which other bloggers will be there when we are!

It's Jeanius - Jean Queen Lipstick & Lipgloss
As I was scrolling through the gift section of Swirl, I found lipstick designed in a shade perfect for denim. Jean Queen Lipstick touts that it is a gorgeous, natural pink lipstick in a super sheer moisturizing tint designed to perfectly offset denim and all your casual wear. That got me searching for more information. In which I found a website for the lipstick and a counterpart, Jean Queen Lip Gloss.
The site says,

Naked And Famous - Teaser
The other day I came across some interesting jeans with an even more interesting name: Naked And Famous. When I contacted them for their lookbooks, this is how they answered me: "We don't have any lifestyle shots. We're not that kind of brand, we keep everything super basic. No fashion shows, no celebrities, no bull. Just the best denim in the world, at the best price." Well, as I am not the type of person to give up easily, I insisted, and they promised to "see what they could do!" Meanwhile, here's some info just for you to get a taste of what's up with this brand. And you gotta love the way they named one of their jeans "The Weird Guy"! Way to go, N & F... Now I can't wait to get those real lifestyle shots! I just hope I can publish them!
Denimology / Singer 22 Model Contest
Are you interested in modeling/blogging for Denimology? Would you like to try out the hottest denim styles before anyone else? Do you love denim? Then you should enter our Model Contest, which is being run in collaboration with online fashion retailer Singer22.com.
We are looking for someone to model women's jeans and then write up their opinions which will be published in the Review Section of Denimology. You must be aged between 16 - 30, over 5' 6" (168cm) and live in the US or Canada. We want someone that is great looking (obviously), has great style, can write well and is able to photograph themselves (or have someone else take the photos). The winner will receive a contract with Denimology to write weekly reviews of the hottest jeans from the coolest premium denim brands, along with a gift voucher worth $300 to spend at Singer22.com.
To give yourself an idea of what will be expected of the winner please check out our Review Section. If you are interested please send some recent photos of yourself, along with the following info (age, location, profession, a paragraph about your favourite jeans and why you love them, along with the reason why you should be chosen to model for Denimology. The winner will be selected by Denimology & Singer22 and will begin modeling in January 2011.
