Work Custom Jeans Fall/Winter 2011
My first weekend of summer was spent with friends shooting the Work Custom Jeans Fall Lookbook and as Fall is now upon us it is time to finally roll this editorial and video out. Our team was photographer Dylan Jet (who I've known since 4th grade) model Paris Duff - one of the nicest people you will ever meet,Trevor Wolfe and Vanessa Dubasso made this one of the best days.
It goes without saying that I'm a Work Custom Jeans fan and I've converted many friends at this point including the guys. Yes, Trevor is wearing WCJ and wears them all the time (of note is those are Forever 21 shorts he's wearing and their his). I so love the faux leather Leggera and the wine color is a perfect addition to the color palette. Work Custom is classic with a twist I never tire of the jeans and feel that there is no trend I'm falling into when I wear them.
This will always serve as a time capsule for me of good times with friends, a world in flux and navigating my role in life.
Colcci Women's Lookbook / Video S/S 2012
Brazilian denim brand Colcci take advantage of Rio's breathtaking natural beauty as a background for their Spring/Summer 2012 video and lookbook. Leather shorts, hot pants, high-waisted jeans in every imaginable style, ranging from skinny, slouchy to flares. Oh how I wish I could spend these next few months here in magnificent Rio de Janeiro.......:-(
Colcci Men's Lookbook & Video S/S 2012
The Colcci men's video lookbook is a fashion show full of colors, lots of stripes and an interesting mixture of different kinds of denim styles. The photo shoot (below) took place on the deck of a penthouse in Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro starring, of course, Ashton Kutcher and Alessandra Ambrósio.
Colcci S/S 2012 RTW Video
Colcci is another of the big denim brands here in Brazil. It became famous a few years ago when Gisele Bündchen was their "spokesmodel". Now, for the second season, they have invited Ashton Kutcher and beautiful ex-Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrósio to present their S/S 2012 collection. Question: what's wrong with the Brazilian macho men, so they have to invite an American bad boy to represent a Brazilian brand? Por que, Colcci??
Ellus S/S 2012 Ad Campaign Video
São Paulo's Fashion Week (in Brazil), which took place in the Ibirapuera Park in June, showed, among others, ELLUS, which I consider to be one of the best brands of denim "Made in Brazil". To the sound of the band Stop Play Moon, model and singer Geanine Marques showed us all that it's possible to be a model who has more than just a perfect bod, her voice left nothing to be desired either!
