Ashlee Simpson in Levi's Jean Shorts

Leggy little momma Ashlee Simpson is spotted arriving at the Se restaurant wearing her short Levi's cut-off shorts that we've spotted her in before. I love them. She is actually bring the retro hard and making it look the hotness! I definitely like she is acting again and not singing. Check out her chubby baby! I wanna bite him, LOL!
Current/Elliott Fall 2009 Lookbook
Current/Elliott's Fall 2009 Lookbook takes inspiration from the circus and victorian life and creates a cool denim collection. For the new season, the boyfriend jean that brought the brand such fame was not in sight, but replaced by skinny jeans and wide leg cuts, some with drawstring waists and darker vintage washes. I love the Victorian jacket!
Dakota Fanning in Levi's Jeans

Dakota Fanning, in character as Cherie Currie, wears a pair of Levi's jeans while filming a scene at a restaurant for The Runaways.
Mischa Barton in a Denim Dress

Spotted out in L.A was Mischa Barton wearing a vintage-look denim dress with a tag that looks similar to Levi's, but is NOT the original red tab brand. Mischa heads out for a walk with her pups before a business meeting.
Recently, the Daily Mail had a whole lot of not-so-nice things to say about poor Mischa. Do you agree with the article or are they trying to stir up drama that isn't there?
If you happen to know the brand that Mischa is wearing, please leave a comment in the comments section of this post.

Ashlee Simpson in Vintage Dittos

I need to know where Ashlee Simpson shops, as I am so envious of her vintage jeans. We saw her once before in vintage Dittos jeans and here she is in another pair. Dittos the brand became famous in the 70's for their saddleback bellbottoms. Their iconic pockets will even be making an appearance in the new Runaways movie. Relaunched two years ago, Dittos (old and new) pays homage to a look that is still popular today.
Blue Gold: The Movie

We've just received information about a new film all about denim and jeans. Sounds like our kind of movie. Here's the inside scoop: "A new documentary, BLUE GOLD, follows the fascinating story of the blue jean, a truly American icon that has evolved into a global phenomenon. This historic journey that begins in rural Nevada more than 130 years ago when the jean was a miner's solution to a working man's pant, travels throughout the US, all the way to a denim auction in Yokohama, Japan. Speaking with collector's, dealers, designers, legends and historians, this unique film creates the narrative for the behind-the-scenes players in this subculture. The relentless search for vintage jeans is a continued source of inspiration for high-end designers and brands as well as for collectors all over the world. Nowhere is this more apparent than in Japan, where an estimated 80% of all vintage denim resides today, along with the original Levi's shuttle looms discarded by American factories after World War II. Japanese fascination and adaptation of Americana is hugely responsible for having generated the current interest in vintage jeans. BLUE GOLD is a positive film about the global love for American blue jeans..."
