Destroyed Brand Denim - Premium Collection

After a short respite, destroyed denim has made it back into the mainstream and high fashion, thanks to Britney's VMA-winning 'Piece of Me' vid and Christopher Kane's edgy pairing of ripped jeans and sweet snake-print blouses for Spring 08.

Destroyed Brand takes a highly stylised approach to the look- with bold spray-paint bleaching and multiple horizontal rips (sure to grow with every wash) down the front & back of both legs. Jessica Simpson stepped out in New York wearing a pair of J Brand skinny jeans, if only she had selected the rest of her outfit so wisely. Jeans aside, the combination of gladiator-type sandals, loud patterned blouse and air-dog suggest that perhaps she should have taken her sunglasses off and turned on the light on whilst getting dressed.

Salma Hayek out with her adorable baby Valentina in Beverly Hills wearing 7 For All Mankind super flare jeans. Salma is not just an actress she's a producer, director and the first Mexican national who was ever nominated for a Best Actress Oscar. Her charity work includes raising awareness on violence against women and she was recently seen on the Step Up Cancer Telethon in the States which raised money for cancer research. She's beautiful, talented and has a big heart!
