Connie Style - Hudson Nico Skinny Jeans
After my last review of Hudson bootcut jeans I was excited to be offered the chance to review the latest addition to their collection, the 'Nico' Skinny.
This style is Hudson's skinniest 5 pocket to date and is inspired by Nico, the singer and Andy Warhol muse. Upon trying on these beauties I was instantly converted. They are such a great fit with a really comfortable fabric despite the extreme skinny fit. They are a mix of cotton, tencel, rayon and lyrca which creates a soft and fine fabric making them almost like leggings rather than jeans.
These are a mid rise fit which usually doesn't work out too well for me due to my waist to hip ratio, but these actually fit really nicely. They are soft and accommodating enough that they don't dig into my hip bones in the same way that most mid rise styles do. A major plus from my point of view!! The leg has a 10inch opening so they are super tight and great for tucking into boots or for wearing with sandals or heels.
These are a great jean for most occasions as the dark wash makes them smart enough to wear from day through to evening. They can be dressed down with flats and slouchy tops or dressed up with killer heels and a smart jacket and are perfect for that transitional day to night look.
The pockets on these are really flattering and the colour wash also creates a very slimming approach. They run very true to size, these ones being a 26 which is my usual and is bang on.
I can't actually think of any negative points on these! Even after washing the dye has stayed really strong and there are no signs of fading at all.

Audrina's In-Store Bongo Promo
Since the end of her reality show Audrina has returned to her day job of being a pretty promo girl. This week she was snapped fooling around in the Sears store in Cerritos, California in order to drum up a little publicity for Bongo Jeans. I wonder whether her reality show Audrina will get a second series on MTV? Though undeniably cute and very sweet-natured I am not sure that Audrina has the personality to carry an entire TV show on her own, even with the help of her nutzo mother (and family).
Rachel Weisz In J Brand
It turns out that they are making a fourth installment in the Bourne series, this one is titled The Bourne Legacy and unfortunately will not be starring Matt Damon. Instead the lead is played by Jeremy Renner, who was in The Hurt Locker. Why is all this relevant you ask? Well because Rachel Weisz is also in it and on her first day on set she was snapped wearing a very classy pair of J Brand "Bailey" Perfect Rise Relaxed Boot Leg in Heritage.
Jen Style - Paige Edgemont Skinny Jeans
Hey lovelies! Today I'm stoked to introduce to you the Paige Edgemont Skinny in Super Rebellious. This style is one of Paige's newest arrivals for Fall, and I am absolutely swooning over them! Paige is one of my top fave denim brands, and I don't own one pair of Paige denim that I don't adore {see my previous Paige review on denimology here}.
I love the dark indigo wash on this pair {indigo washes always look more sleek and expensive}. The zippers are a plus and give this pair just the right amount of edge. I love the placement of the zippers too! You tend to see zippers lower on the leg or at the ankles, so I thought this placement was cool and unique. Every pair of Paige I've reviewed or owned has been true to size for me. I tend to wear a size 27 in most denim brands, and that's exactly what I wear in every pair of Paige denim that I've tried on. The fit of these jeans is undeniably "skinny" with a nice stretch. The jeans are 70% cotton and 30% polyester, which allows a slim fit, that is maintained through a day's wear. Another plus is the 31" inseam! I love a pair of skinny jeans that hit right at the ankle. I'm 5'10 and it's hard to find a pair of skinny jeans that is the perfect balance -- not too long, but long enough to hit just right at the ankle.
I'm not going to lie, these are one of my fave pairs yet! The fit is perfection and the jeans made me feel sexy with just the right amount of edge. Not to mention, I loved the way my bum looked in them! What girl doesn't fall for a jean that makes her rear look good? I decided to pair a chic leather top with these jeans to play on the edginess, but I still wanted to keep the look polished! I would love to pair these jeans with a flowy top or slouchy knit for the Fall. I can definitely see these jeans getting loads of wear, they would look great with a number of tops and shoes -- I just love 'em!

Def Jam princess, Rihanna is spotted hard at work on the Emerald Isle. The singer was spotted filming her We Found Love music video in Northern Ireland. She looked super sexy in her patriotic, custom denim pieces, working her musical magic for the cameras.
