The 6397 Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear Collection, debuted this past September. It is the brand’s very first runway show in its 13-year history since the 2013 launch
Spring 2027 is pretty relevant to the denim shift we’ve been posting about over the past few months. 6397’s artistic director, Lizzie Owens, continues with the brand’s understated New York wardrobe approach. But the jeans have some very specific proportions.
Relaxed and wide-leg jeans remain central. High-rise and mid-rise proportions coexist rather than one of them dominating. Clean, lived-in denim instead of heavily distressed jeans. Long lengths are important, particularly with wider legs. Vintage-inspired washes give the jeans an effortless, already-loved quality.
In this Spring 2027 collection 6397 shows how many different denim silhouettes can coexist.
