We’ve always loved corduroy as an alternative to our usual denim, especially when it gets really cold out there.
When corduroy jeans first came out, they were made of 100% cotton and I clearly remember how they used to bag out after only one or two times of use. And not “sexy” baggy, but like saggy butts, and around the knee – well I’m sure you get the picture!
But these baggy times are long gone. For years corduroy jeans have had a pretty good amount of stretch making it possible for the pants to mold to your body and never bag out or sag.
Another plus of corduroy is that they come in many different colors, a welcome and cool addition to our closet.
Nowadays you can wear your cords in all the top trending styles. Besides the skinnies, the options are straight and wide legs, and also some pretty cool baggy and drop-crotch fits. Check out some of our best finds below 🙂
