Metallic pants used to be what we thought of festive, special occasion statement pieces. Not anymore. For the past few seasons metallic jeans have become very much present in many denim collections and, somewhat but not quite yet, available at retailers online and in brick and mortar stores.
But this season (as well as for spring and summer) metallic jeans have definitely become a wardrobe staple. The exciting and fun thing about them is that you can get a lot of wear out of those because of their versatility. Metallic jeans look super cool any way you want to wear them – from subtle to statement. Depends only on how you combine them, what kind of clothing you’re pairing them with.
You can do them on a regular day out, worn with a distressed sweater or jacket and hi-top sneakers, like the hi-top metallic bad boys from Converse. Yeah, why not do double metallic! Or, if that’s too much for you, opt for a pair of basic sneakers, or how about some cowboy boots like these.
And – hello! Valentine’s day approaching – if you want to dress up metallic jeans, pair them with a black silk shirt and any oversized blazer. Add your favorite pair of stilettos or platforms, and you’re good to go.
On a sidenote, remember metallic shades are not limited to silver, gold, or pewter hues. You can do metallic in pink, green, blue, any color goes!
Our team has been working on it and below you can check out their favorites. Get ready for some “metallic inspiration”:-)
